As a service to the community of Hornepayne, we offer the opportunity for individuals to visit our Sawmill facility in order to purchase lumber directly or tour our operations.

In order to access Haavaldsrud property, however, certain Health and Safety restrictions apply:

• All visitors (non-employees, contractors, lumber purchasers, deliveries, government representatives, etc.) must report to the Main Office.

• The following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn while on site:
  • ANSI approved Safety Hat
  • Reflective Safety Vest.

• Visitors on tour of our facilities must have appropriate footwear (i.e. no open-toed sandles or high-heeled shoes/boots).

• No visitor under the age of 12 will be permitted on tours without the accompaniement of a salaried employee (manager, supervisor, etc.).

Note that certain areas (within the sawmill, for example) require additional Personal Protective Equipment (i.e. safety glasses) not mentioned above. Contact the Haavaldsrud office for further information.
