| After another long and overly complicated journey we arrive at the Oxtongue River and look for our luxury accommodations. | |
| Hey and here is the cabin, looks good so far. | |
| Hey where did the rest of the cabin go? What do you mean this is it! | |
| How come every time we come to one of these there are more maps then the last time!. | |
| Okay guys how about we just go in a straight line between every CP that has to be the shortest way. Hey it is not nice to call someone names like that especially your team captain! | |
| How come we look so tired and the race hasn't even started yet? | |
| Now this looks better, wide awake and ready to go. Well most of us are (i'm looking at you Dave, mister sleeps all the time!). | |
| Hey we made it to the first transition and it is still early Saturday morning! This has never happened before, our support crew was caught off guard. We were just lucky he was there at all. | |
| Hey everything went so well no need to hurry. | |
| Hey Mr. Jaremy how come the other teams transition area looks so much better then ours? I will take care of that later. | |
| With Sherry leading the charge as usual we approach transition area 2. | |
| Sherry what is that red stuff running down your leg?. | |
| Here is our support crew guy Dave on the left with our new friend. Not only did he keep Dave well watered but he also did a hell of a job bandaging up Sherry after her bike crash. | |
| I guess we should get going and see if we can find any water in this river. | |
| Sherry don't worry I am done puking! | |
| No really I am okay. | |
| All I need is a few hours of flat water and everything will be great! | |
| Hey where did Andre and Sherry go? | |
| Now are we suppose to go left or right? | |
| Dave used his keen sense of smell to determine which way the rest of the team went. | |
| How many of these paddling pictures do we have!?!. | |
| May as well show what the third transition area looked like in the light. By the time we got there it was too dark to see much. | |
| 36 hours of racing and we still look so fresh! Now bring us some food. Damn the people at Deerhurst know how to make a great meal. | |
| That was good now where the hell is my bed, oh never mind this table will do. | |
| Sherry always competitive displays her team best racing injury. Bill's knee was a close second but he lost points for a lack of blood. | |
| Hey let's just spend the day lounging around Deerhurst, not like any of us have anywhere better to go. | |
| While we are at it let's steal a sailboat and as long as nobody takes any pictures then nobody will know. | |
| In a typical bit of Max Payne navigation we set off to return home from Deerhurst by way of Port Huron!?!. | |
| Look it is the incredible Straits of Mackinaw Bridge, why are we here? | |
| Oh I get it we are on a tour of the great bridges of Michigan. | |
| This one is for Sherry who just wanted to see a moose during the race. We didn't see any during the race but this cow and her twin calves south of Wawa were some of the few we saw during the drive. Sorry you missed them all Sherry. |
